No GLP-1 receptor agonist is FDA-approved for veterinary use in the United States. Any use in animals would be off-label and prescribed at a veterinarian's discretion, similar to how human physicians can prescribe approved drugs off-label.
Research interest exists but is limited
There is academic and veterinary research interest in GLP-1 mechanisms for conditions like feline and canine obesity or diabetes, but this remains an early research area rather than an established, approved veterinary treatment pathway.
Not a source for human medication
Separately, veterinary-labeled or research-grade compounds are sometimes marketed online in ways that could be mistaken for human treatment options — these are not appropriate substitutes for a human prescription and fall outside FDA human-drug oversight entirely.
